Tidelands Health MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program

A Program of the Skipper InitiativeThe Tidelands Health MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program is a unique combination of family medicine learning in a destination location. In addition to broad spectrum training associated with family medicine, we have curriculum components that focus on training in leadership and building skills for lifelong wellness and resilience. The residency program we have created encompasses the best of both worlds—a high-quality community health system setting with the educational resources of a top academic medical center, allowing residents to learn in multiple settings with a variety of experiences.

Building Resilience

We want our residents to feel cared for as they learn to care for others. We call our resident-focused wellness program Building Resilience. Every place you see the beach chair in the dunes on our website, we’ll be sharing an interesting fact about our Building Resilience program.
