So What's it Like to Live and Practice Medicine in the Tidelands Region?

A series of photos depicting fun around the Tidelands region.

Dr. Gram Praytor"Coming from the upstate of South Carolina, the coast was an obvious attraction when my wife and I were looking for a place to relocate. The amenities that this area offers are endless, and we were attracted to the small-town feel. We especially love being able to take walks on the beach after work and have access to so many great local restaurants. When it comes to taking care of my patients, Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital provides me an excellent facility in which to practice medicine while being surrounded by other physicians who have a passion for serving their community. We are very excited to start and raise our family in a coastal area that offers such an array of recreational opportunity."

Dr. Lena Sandifer“One thing that was very important to me was finding a group of like-minded physicians. As a bonus for me, South Carolina is my home. I was born and raised here. I was looking to come back, and finding a practice that met my goals and the location that I desired was just perfect.”
