Tidelands Health continues to serve as official health care provider of Carolina Country Music Fest in Myrtle Beach

Tidelands Health is once again the official health care provider of Carolina Country Music Fest and will provide on-site medical care during the four-day event.

For more than five years, the not-for-profit health system has partnered with CCMF to support the health and wellness of festivalgoers, performers, volunteers and staff during the festival, which this year is set for June 4-7. Two Tideland Health team members stand in front of a banner at CCMF

“As our region’s largest health care provider, Tidelands Health is proud to partner with CCMF to support the festival and its thousands of attendees,” said Ashley Capps, vice president of operations and chief nursing officer at Tidelands Health. “Fans can focus on the music and fun, knowing we’ll be there to support their health and wellness needs.”

As the official health care provider of CCMF, Tidelands Health provides on-site medical care and offers health and wellness tips leading up to the event, including reminders about staying hydrated, remembering sun protection and wearing proper footwear. Attendees are encouraged to download the CCMF app to get timely tips and health reminders before and during the festival.

“Each year, our partnership with Tidelands Health plays a vital role in creating a safe, enjoyable experience for every fan who walks through our gates,” said Michael Stephens, head of brand partnerships for Carolina Country Music Fest. “Their team brings an unmatched level of expertise, preparedness and genuine care to CCMF.

“We’re grateful for their continued commitment to supporting the health and wellness of our fans, artists and staff as we come together for another incredible year in Myrtle Beach.”

During the event, Tidelands Health care professionals join other first responders in the festival’s on-site medical tent to provide essential care.

“Whether it’s starting an IV to help with dehydration or something more serious, we’ll be there to help,” said Wendi Kobylarz, emergency department director at Tidelands Health.

CCMF draws more than 35,000 people each night to the festival grounds in the heart of Myrtle Beach on Ocean Boulevard. This year’s lineup includes headliners Post Malone, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and Riley Green, as well as 40 more artists.
