Community health fairs start this week
Residents can get basic health checks and find helpful resources during free community health fairs starting this week sponsored by Tidelands Health and the YMCA of Coastal Carolina.
The health fairs will provide free bone density screenings and blood pressure checks, as well as information to help improve your health including physical therapy, weight-loss strategies, stroke awareness and prevention and more.
For a small fee, attendees can have blood drawn for a variety of lab services such as A1C, lipid panel and a comprehensive metabolic panel.

“Our community health fairs help residents find the resources, information and support they need to take control of their health and live better lives through better health,” said Monica Grey, vice president of care continuum at Tidelands Health.
