Experienced financial leader joins Tidelands Health
A financial professional and administrator with more than 15 years of experience with health care organizations has joined Tidelands Health in a senior leadership role.
Derek Dudley serves as vice president of revenue cycle at the not-for-profit health system. In this role, Dudley is responsible for strategic development, implementation and operation of the revenue cycle to help promote the financial health of the organization. Prior to joining Tidelands Health, Dudley served in similar financial leadership roles at large health systems in Georgia and Ohio, among others.
Dudley earned a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in health administration, both from Saint Louis University. He holds multiple professional designations, including certified health care finance professional, certified revenue cycle representative, certified patient account representative and certified medical practice executive. He also is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and has served as a board member of the association’s Georgia chapter.
