Tidelands Health marketing executive elected to national SHSMD board

Amy Stevens, who serves as vice president and chief marketing officer for Tidelands Health, has been elected to the advisory board of the country’s largest and most prominent organization for health care strategists.

Amy StevensStevens will serve on the 16-member board of the American Hospital Association’s Society for Health Care Strategy & Market Development, a professional membership group for health care marketers, communicators, strategic planners and business developers.

In her volunteer role, Stevens will work with fellow board members to define the society’s vision and strategic direction and guide the development of policies, programs and services for SHSMD members.

“I’ve been a member of SHSMD since the early 2000s when I began my career in health care marketing,” Stevens said. “Now, I’m incredibly humbled and honored to have been elected to serve on the SHSMD advisory board. I’m looking forward to giving back to an organization that has given so much to me.”

Stevens has nearly 25 years of experience in health care marketing and communications. She joined Tidelands Health a decade ago and provides leadership for the not-for-profit health system’s marketing, communications, patient experience, advocacy, community relations, provider relations and fund development functions.
