Nursing leader promoted to director of Tidelands Health pain management services
A longtime nursing leader at Tidelands Health has been promoted to director of the health system’s pain management services.
In her new role, Sabrina Ray will lead operations at Tidelands Health Pain Management Services, which provides comprehensive and compassionate care for acute and chronic pain conditions including arthritis, fibromyalgia, herniated discs, sciatica, migraines and more. Board-certified pain management physicians, anesthesiologists and the entire care team work closely with patients to develop treatment plans customized for each patient’s unique needs using the latest technologies. Tidelands Health Pain Management Services has convenient locations in Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet and Georgetown.
Ray has more than 17 years of nursing experience at Tidelands Health in a variety of roles, including six years in the emergency department and nine years in the pain management division that she now oversees. Ray earned an associate degree in nursing from Horry-Georgetown Technical College and a bachelor’s degree in science from Capella University.
