Board-certified oncologist joins Tidelands Health Cancer Care Network

A board-certified physician specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and blood diseases has joined Tidelands Health Cancer Care Network and is accepting new patients.Dr. Ming Yin

Dr. Ming Yin sees patients at Tidelands Health Oncology at Myrtle Beach, 1220 21st Avenue North. He provides care and treatment for a variety of oncology and hematology conditions, including benign hematologic disorders, coagulation disorders, tumors and cancers, as well as leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma and bone marrow disorders.

Dr. Yin earned his medical degree from Nanjing Medical University and completed his residency at Geisinger Medical Center. He completed fellowships at Penn State Hershey Medical Center and University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Prior to joining Tidelands Health, he worked at The James Comprehensive Cancer Center at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Yin is certified in internal medicine, oncology and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Yin is also fluent in Chinese.

Tidelands Health Cancer Care Network is the region’s exclusive affiliate of the MUSC Hollings Cancer Network, which is South Carolina’s only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center.
