Blood donors must be healthy, at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. Be sure to bring a valid ID. People who are feeling ill should postpone donating blood until they feel healthy and are symptom-free. Appointments will take priority, but walk-ins are welcome.

Blood supplies are vital for patients with cancer, chronic diseases, cardiac conditions, those who have experienced a trauma and more. A single blood donation has a shelf life of only 42 days, so donations from community members are continuously needed to keep supplies replenished.
