Tidelands Health names new leader of oncology and outpatient services
A nursing leader at Tidelands Health has been promoted to director of oncology and outpatient infusion services for the health system.
Mandy Jo Spickler has more than 15 years of nursing experience, including the last five years in the Tidelands Health Cancer Care Network as an oncology certified nurse and the oncology infusion head nurse.
In her new role as director, Spickler oversees chemotherapy and infusion services located in Georgetown, Murrells Inlet and Myrtle Beach.
Spickler earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Penn State University and has more than 15 years of nursing experience. She joined Tidelands Health in 2014.
The Tidelands Health Cancer Care Network is a triple-accredited cancer care provider and the region’s affiliate of the MUSC Health Hollings Cancer Center, a National Institutes of Cancer designated cancer center. The Tidelands Health Cancer Care Network is accredited by the American College of Radiology, the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and the Commission on Cancer, a program of the American College of Surgeons.
