Mayo Clinic-trained vascular surgeon joins Tidelands Health, accepting new patients

Dr. Matthew GibsonA board-certified vascular surgeon has joined Tidelands Health and is accepting new patients.

Dr. Matthew Gibson diagnoses and treats a variety of vascular conditions including blood clots, aneurysms, peripheral artery disease and more. He performs procedures including stenting, bypasses, angioplasty and other interventions.

He sees patients at Tidelands Health Vascular Surgery in Waccamaw Medical Park West, 4040 Highway 17 South, Suite 104, in Murrells Inlet.

Dr. Gibson earned his medical degree from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and completed his residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.

He is certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
