Fellowship-trained orthopedist joins Tidelands Health, accepting new patients

Dr. Derrek WoodburyA fellowship-trained orthopedic physician has joined Tidelands Health and is accepting new patients.

Dr. Derrek Woodbury provides care and treatment for a variety of orthopedic conditions, including fractures, hip and knee replacements, tennis and golfer’s elbow, rotator cuff and meniscus injuries and arthritis. He performs arthroscopic surgeries and carpal tunnel and trigger finger surgeries and helps patients with orthopedic conditions in their shoulders, elbows, hands, hips, knees or ankles.

He sees patients at Tidelands Health Orthopedics at Georgetown, which is located inside Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, 606 Black River Road, Suite 100, in Georgetown.

Dr. Woodbury earned his medical degree from Touro University Nevada and completed his residency at Michigan State University. He also completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Detroit Medical Center.
