Tidelands Health to provide update on current state of COVID-19 during free webinar Monday

Bruce Bailey, president and CEO of Tidelands HealthTidelands Health is partnering with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce to provide an update on COVID-19 in our community through a free webinar Monday.

Bruce Bailey, president and CEO, and Dr. Gerald Harmon, vice president of medical affairs, will offer insight and expertise on the current state of COVID-19 and take questions from webinar participants.

Dr. Gerald HarmonAs the region’s largest health care provider, Tidelands Health has been on the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic in our area and is participating in a national initiative led by Mayo Clinic to investigate a potential treatment.

The health system also has taken a lead role in testing residents for COVID-19 in Horry and Georgetown counties and has implemented a comprehensive response to the virus.
