Tidelands Health earns national marketing and advertising awards

The Tidelands Health marketing and communications team has earned more than 50 national awards in 2020 honoring a wide array of work that ranges from the opening of Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common to the health system’s wellness news and information website, MyCarolinaLife.com.

Tidelands Health logoIn the 2020 Hospital Marketing Advertising Awards, Tidelands Health earned a Silver Award for best website for MyCarolinaLife.com and an honorable mention in the best outdoor, PR program or community outreach category for the video “Twas the Night Before Rehab.”

The health system also earned accolades in that national competition for promotion of the opening of Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common, which opened in Myrtle Beach in 2019. Tidelands Health was named a finalist for best digital/social media campaign for The Market Common Moving Day Contest and best television campaign for Moving Forward – The Market Common.

In the national Communicator Awards, Tidelands Health earned three awards of excellence for the opening of the medical park at The Market Common, the Moving Forward TV commercial and for a T-shirt design. Judges also presented Tidelands Health 11 awards of distinction for a variety of work, including MyCarolinaLife.com, the “Oh,baby! blog, a nurse recruitment brochure, feature writing, “The Drive” video and more.

Tidelands Health also earned 16 awards in the 37th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, the nation’s largest health care advertising awards competition that drew more than 4,200 entries this year.

The health system earned three gold awards (of 341 national winners) for a special video on the health system’s driver rehabilitation program, an employee communication video series and the health system’s annual report. Judges also presented the team with five silver awards (of 290 national winners), four bronze awards (of 240 national winners) and four merit awards.

The health system’s recruiting brochure, integrated marketing campaigns, patient welcome guide, ads and MyCarolinaLife.com were among the award-winning work.

The South Carolina Press Association recognized Tidelands Health with 16 awards this year, including four first-place, seven second-place and five third-place nods. The team swept the public relations program category for the health system’s patient guide, movers guide and annual report.
