Honor a loved one this holiday season by donating to Lights of Love

Honor, memorialize or recognize a loved one this holiday season by donating to Tidelands Health Foundation’s Lights of Love.

The popular campaign offers a unique opportunity to honor a loved one during the holidays while also supporting scholarships for Tidelands Health employee partners and local graduating high school seniors.

Lights of Love logoFor a minimum $10 tax-deductible donation for each honoree, the Tidelands Health Foundation will illuminate a light on the holiday trees at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital and Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common. The trees will remain illuminated throughout the holiday season.

Each donation also will be acknowledged with a special holiday card to the honoree or honoree’s family sent on the donor’s behalf by the Tidelands Health Foundation. In addition, every name honored, memorialized or recognized with a donation will be listed on the Tidelands Health website.

Donors can honor anyone - relatives, cherished friends, teachers, front-line health care workers and even those special pets that are part of the family.

“Lights of Love is all about capturing the spirit of the holiday season by honoring those who are or have been bright lights in our own lives or for our community,” said Jessica Sasser, executive director of the Tidelands Health Foundation. “This program offers a unique way to recognize and show appreciation for those who have made an impact on your life.”

Donations are already being accepted and can be made at any time through December. Click here to complete the donation form or call 843-652-8080 for more information.

Lights of Love donations help fund scholarships to Tidelands Health employee partners who want to advance their health care education, as well as scholarships for local graduating high school seniors who are pursuing a health-related degree.

The Tidelands Health Foundation works in partnership with Tidelands Health, our region’s largest health care provider, to offer new technologies, modern facilities and increased access to health care services in our community.
