Free online seminar to offer tips for parenting amid COVID-19 pandemic
Learn parenting tips and techniques to help your family better cope with the COVID-19 pandemic at a free online seminar on Thursday, July 23.
The Positive Parenting Program – known as Triple P – is an evidence-based program that offers practical strategies to help parents build strong, healthy relationships, confidently manage their children’s behavior and promote positive childhood development.
Tidelands Health, one of several organizations that have partnered to implement Triple P in our region, will offer a free online seminar designed to help parents cope with the stress of parenting during the COVID-19 pandemic on Thursday, July 23, at 5 p.m.
Parents will learn how to encourage desired behavior, properly address problem behavior and become more confident in their parenting skills.
Parents of children up to age 12 are eligible to participate in the free seminar. Register by calling 843-520-8242.
Parents will have the opportunity to pick up a free toolkit of items to implement what they learn at the seminar and will have a chance to win a gift card.
