Walk With a Doc to feature discussion on arthritis
Tens of millions of Americans struggle with arthritis, one of the most common chronic conditions in the nation and a leading cause of disability.
Learn about risk factors for arthritis and strategies to manage the condition at the next Tidelands Health Walk With a Doc at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 13.
Every month, Tidelands Health hosts Walk With a Doc, a free community walking initiative launched in May 2017, in The Market Common community of Myrtle Beach.
Each program begins with a brief presentation on a health topic from a Tidelands Health medical professional before participants enjoy a self-paced, one-mile walk around the lake at Grand Park.
This month, Tidelands Health orthopedic surgeon Dr. Earl Han will present “Living with Arthritis” before leading the group for its monthly walk.
Attendees should meet at the picnic pavilion adjacent to Forbus Court near the baseball fields at Grand Park.
Walk With a Doc is open to individuals of all ages. Strollers are welcome.
