Tidelands HealthPoint Center for Health and Fitness offering free swim lessons for children

Tidelands HealthPoint Center for Health and Fitness in Pawleys Island is offering free swim lessons for children in early December.

Participants will learn about pool safety and the basics of swimming, including how to float and beginner swim stroke. Participants also will practice putting their faces in the water and learn how to kick.

Tidelands HealthPoint poolThe free swim lessons, open to ages 3 to 10, will run from Monday, Dec. 9, through Thursday, Dec. 12. Lessons for ages 3 to 5 are available from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Lessons for ages 6 to 10 will take place from 3:45 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Membership to Tidelands HealthPoint is not required to participate in the free swim lessons.
