Tidelands Health marketing executive serves as expert panelist at national conference
The top marketing executive at Tidelands Health shared her expertise in content creation at a recent national health care conference.
Amy Stevens, vice president of marketing and communications, was invited to serve as a panelist at Modern Healthcare’s Strategic Marketing Conference, held Nov. 5 in St. Louis, Missouri. Stevens participated in an hour-long discussion focused on “Creating the Most Impactful and Consumer-Driven Content.”
Stevens served on the panel with communications leaders from Mayo Clinic, Avera Health and Hartford HealthCare. More than 100 marketing executives and health system leaders attended the day-long conference.
“Very often, the shortest distance between two people is a story,” Stevens said. “At Tidelands Health, we utilize storytelling to better connect with our team members, our patients and our community. Whether through expert health advice from our physicians or uplifting stories of hope from our patients, powerful, authentic content breaks down barriers and opens doors to meaningful relationships.”
Stevens, who has more than 20 years of health care marketing experience, joined Tidelands Health in 2013 and led the organization’s brand launch in 2015. She oversees the Tidelands Health marketing, communications, community relations, physician relations and advocacy programs.
An Emmy-nominated executive, Stevens is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development. She is an incoming member of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
