Tidelands Health earns more than a dozen marketing awards
Tidelands Health has earned more than a dozen awards for its marketing and communications efforts.
The health system won 16 awards, including a top Award of Excellence, in the Communicator Awards, billed as the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.
The health system also earned an Award of Excellence in the PICA Awards, a competition for the graphics industry.
“We are honored to be recognized for the innovative ways we share the importance of health and wellness with our community,” said Amy Stevens, vice president of marketing and communications for Tidelands Health. “These awards are a testament to our organization’s firm commitment to help people live better lives through better health.”
In the Communicator Awards, the health system earned an Award of Excellence for MyCarolinaLife.com, an engaging website that delivers timely, trustworthy health information to the region’s residents. Other winners in the competition included major national brands such as IBM and Bank of America.
The health system also won 15 awards of distinction for a broad range of writing, marketing, video and graphic design work. Included among the winning entries were “Community,” the health system’s 2017 annual report, its “Better. Every Day.” book and video series, a “Better for Life” brochure, a campaign highlighting the health system’s transition to environmentally friendly paper straws and more.
“Community,” the health system’s 2017 annual report, was also a winner in the PICA Awards. It earned an Award of Excellence in the competition, which is organized by the Printing Industry of the Carolinas, a regional trade organization for print manufacturing in North and South Carolina.
Recognition in the Communicator and PICA awards continues a string of honors earned by the Tidelands Health marketing and communications team.
Most recently, the health system was named winner of the “Facebook - Social Good Campaign” category in the 2019 PR News Social Media Awards, besting national organizations such as AFLAC and the U.S. Postal Service.
Earlier this year, the team also won a dozen awards – including five first-place honors – in the South Carolina Press Association’s annual awards contest.
