Three chances to donate blood this month at Tidelands Health locations

Residents have three chances this month to donate blood at Tidelands Health locations and help meet the need in the community.

Three blood drives are scheduled in July:

  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, July 12, at the Tidelands Health Conference Center, 4367 Riverwood Drive, Murrells Inlet, and the first-floor classroom at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital, 4070 U.S. 17 Bypass, Murrells Inlet. Call 843-652-1152 to arrange an appointment for these locations.
  • 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, July 15, at Tidelands HealthPoint Center for Health and Fitness, 12965 Ocean Highway, Pawleys Island.
  • 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, Willbrook Service Center, 160 Willbrook Boulevard, Pawleys Island. Call 843-652-8200 to schedule an appointment for this blood drive.

Appointments will take priority, but walk-ins are welcome. To make an appointment, either call the numbers above for the blood drive you plan to attend or register at www.redcross.org.

Donors must be healthy, at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. Bring a valid ID.
