Meet providers, learn about services of the new Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common during special Walk With a Doc
Area residents can meet many of the providers who will practice at the new Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common during a special edition of Walk With a Doc Saturday, Aug. 10, at Grand Park.
Residents will have the opportunity to learn about services to be offered in the new, 65,000-square-foot medical park, which will open Sept. 4, as well as meet providers who will work there and book appointments. More than a half-dozen physicians and providers will be on hand to meet with the community during the special Walk With a Doc at 9 a.m. in the event’s usual spot at Grand Park at The Market Common.
“This special Walk With a Doc is a unique opportunity for residents to connect with our team of physicians and providers who will offer highly coordinated care at the new Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common,” said Gayle Resetar, Tidelands Health executive vice president and chief operating officer. “The informal setting of Walk With a Doc is a perfect way for residents to get to know our team and the health care services that will be offered on our new campus.”
Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common is a three-story facility conveniently located at 2200 Crow Lane off Farrow Parkway near U.S. 17 Bypass. When the medical park opens Sept. 4, residents will be able to conveniently and seamlessly access a variety of health care services, including primary care, orthopedics, cardiology, gastroenterology, rehabilitation services, pain management, laboratory services and radiology.
During Walk With a Doc, providers will share information about their services and walk with attendees around the lake at Grand Park.
“Our providers are eager to start serving the community from our new Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common,” said Dr. Gerald Harmon, vice president of medical affairs for Tidelands Health. “While the medical park won’t open for a few more weeks, our providers are getting a jumpstart by taking over the August Walk With a Doc to meet local residents and answer any questions they may have.”
Walk With a Doc is free and open to all ages. Strollers are welcome. Participants should meet at the picnic pavilion adjacent to Forbus Court near the baseball fields at Grand Park.
