Meet the providers who will offer care at the new Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach

More than a dozen physicians and advanced practitioners will offer a range of primary and specialty care at the new Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common when it opens in September.

Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market CommonAppointments with providers are now being scheduled for the three-story medical park, which will open Sept. 4. The 65,000-square-foot building will house more than half a dozen practices and specialties – including primary care, cardiology, gastroenterology, orthopedics and more.

“We have assembled an impressive team of highly skilled, compassionate physicians and advanced practitioners to provide coordinated care under one roof at the new Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common,” said Gayle Resetar, Tidelands Health executive vice president and chief operating officer. “Our team is eager to start serving patients in our new state-of-the-art facility conveniently located in one of the fastest-growing areas of Myrtle Beach.”

Providers will begin seeing patients at Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common, 2200 Crow Lane off Farrow Parkway near U.S. 17 Bypass, on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Appointments are now being scheduled. Call 843-848-5000 to make an appointment.

Residents also can make appointments, meet the providers and learn more about the services that will be offered in the new medical park during a special Walk With a Doc at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, in the event’s usual spot at Grand Park at The Market Common. The event is free and open to all ages. Meet at the picnic pavilion adjacent to Forbus Court near the baseball fields at Grand Park.

Tidelands Health Family Medicine

Dr. Lisa Centilli, who earned her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, is a board-certified family medicine physician who offers a broad range of care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Roxanne Latimer, who earned her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine, is a family medicine physician who speaks both English and Spanish.

Physician assistant Mylena Yee, who specializes in family medicine, earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, West Virginia.

Tidelands Health Gastroenterology

Dr. Sebastian Abadie is a multilingual gastroenterologist whose areas of interest include colorectal cancer screening and the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, reflux disease and pancreatic biliary disease. 

Dr. Christopher Bach, who completed a residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, is a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist who specializes in the care of inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, colon cancer and Hepatitis C.

Nurse practitioner Carrie Gwyer, who earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati, specializes in gastroenterology and digestive disorders.

Tidelands Health Heart and Vascular Specialists

Dr. Mitchell Devlin, who earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiologist who specializes in interventional cardiology and the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Victor Diaz-Gonzalez, who earned his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiologist who specializes in interventional cardiology and the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Dr. John Ijem is a board-certified, fellowship-trained cardiologist who specializes in heart and vascular care. Dr. Ijem earned his medical degree and completed a residency and fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Dr. Michael Malinics, who earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified cardiologist who specializes in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Nurse practitioner Sheryl Aiken, who earned her master’s degree in nursing and a doctorate of nursing practice from MUSC, specializes in cardiology.

Tidelands Health Orthopedics

Dr. William Greer, a Harvard University graduate and former team physician for the Pittsburgh Pirates, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, rotator cuff repairs, shoulder conditions, ACL repair and knee and ankle injuries, as well as minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder, knee, ankle and elbow.

Dr. Darwin McKnight, who earned his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, specializes in sports medicine and has a special interest in concussion management and orthobiologics.

Dr. Mark Rowley, who earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and completed a fellowship in joint replacement at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with expertise in joint replacement, fracture care, shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, carpal tunnel surgery, meniscal repair, trigger finger release and more.

Tidelands Health Pain Management Services

Dr. Brian Yee, who earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained anesthesiologist and pain management physician who offers a broad range of pain care using advanced techniques.
