Honor a loved one this holiday season by donating to Lights of Love

Honor or memorialize a loved one this holiday season by donating to Tidelands Health Lights of Love.

The popular campaign, organized by the Tidelands Health Foundation, offers a unique opportunity to honor a loved one during the holidays while also supporting scholarships for Tidelands Health employee partners.

Lights of LoveFor a minimum $10 tax-deductible donation, the Tidelands Health Foundation will illuminate a light on the holiday trees at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital, Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet and, for the first time this year, at the new Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach.

Donors will be invited to a special tree-lighting event at each location in early December, and the trees will remain illuminated throughout the holiday season.

Each donation also will be acknowledged with a special holiday card to the honoree or honoree’s family sent on the donor’s behalf by the Tidelands Health Foundation. In addition, every name honored or memorialized with a donation will be listed on the Tidelands Health website.

“These unique, Lights of Love holiday trees hold so much meaning and love for our community members,” said Jessica Sasser, executive director of the Tidelands Health Foundation. “It’s truly amazing to see the love and generous spirit from our neighbors that light up these trees and keep them lit throughout the holiday season.”

Donations are already being accepted and can be made at any time through the end of December. Click here to complete the donation form or call 843-652-8080 for more information.

Donations help fund scholarships for some of the 2,500 employee partners at Tidelands Health who wish to advance their health care education.
