Fitness legend Billy Blanks, creator of Tae Bo, will return to lead classes in Pawleys Island; registration now open

Fitness legend Billy Blanks, creator of Tae Bo, is returning to the region to lead classes in his signature workout routine.

Dozens of people joined Blanks last August when hBilly Blankse led Tae Bo classes at Tidelands HealthPoint Center for Health and Fitness in Pawleys Island. Blanks developed Tae Bo, a high-energy workout that combines elements of martial arts, dancing and boxing, in the mid-1970s. It gained widespread popularity in the 1990s and is taught across the world.

Following the success of his August visit, Blanks will return to Tidelands HealthPoint on Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28.

Members of the community can work out alongside Blanks at 10 a.m. on both days at Tidelands HealthPoint, 12965 Ocean Highway. Tidelands HealthPoint members and non-members are invited to participate.
