Experienced nursing leader promoted to associate vice president at Tidelands Health
A nursing leader with more than 25 years of experience has been promoted to associate vice president of nursing operations at Tidelands Health.
In her new role, Jonella Davis serves as one of two associate vice presidents charged with leading the dedicated team of nurses at Tidelands Health. She will oversee nursing operations for medical surgical units and respiratory therapy.
Davis has worked in the health care field for 26 years. For the past 15 years, she’s served in a variety of roles at Tidelands Health, most recently as the medical surgical clinical director of a unit at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. She also serves as an appraiser for the American Nurses Credentialing Center helping hospitals nationwide achieve the Pathway to Excellence designation.
A graduate of Andrews High School in Georgetown County, Davis earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Clemson University and a master’s of business administration with a concentration in health care management from American Intercontinental University in Atlanta.
A Murrells Inlet resident, Davis is married to Tyronne and has two sons, Tyler and Trey.
