Tidelands Health partners with local senior living community to support health and wellness

Tidelands Health is partnering with a local senior living community as part of the health system’s continuing commitment to strengthen health and wellness throughout the region.

The health system is collaborating with Arbor Landing at Pawleys to provide the community’s residents with a broad range of personalized care.

Through the partnership, Arbor Landing residents can benefit from on-site medical visits, physical and occupational therapy and lab services.hands

“This new partnership with Arbor Landing is another way our health system is reaching beyond the walls of our care locations to support health and wellness within the community,” said Monica Grey, associate vice president of transitional care for Tidelands Health. “By working collaboratively with other organizations, we can best meet our community’s health needs.”

The decision to partner with Tidelands Health is part of Arbor Landing’s pledge to provide residents with superior care and service, said Anita Williams, executive director of Arbor Landing.

“Ultimately, we want to provide the best possible care and support to the residents who call Arbor Landing at Pawleys home,” she said. “This partnership with Tidelands Health gives our residents convenient access to the resources and clinical expertise of our region’s largest health care provider.”

The collaboration with Arbor Landing is the most comprehensive partnership the health system has established with local assisted living and skilled living facilities. Tidelands Health also provides lab testing, medical supervision and, through the health system’s Healthy Conversations series, free educational programs and activities at other local assisted living and skilled living facilities.

Tidelands Health is the region’s largest health care provider and MUSC Health affiliate, serving the Carolinas at four hospitals and more than 60 outpatient locations. More than 2,500 employee, physician and volunteer partners work side by side with our communities to transform the health of our region – promoting wellness, preventing illness, encouraging recovery and restoring health.
