Tidelands Health controller named a ‘Rising Star’

A Tidelands Health leader has been named a “Rising Star” for her work helping to manage the health system’s finances.

Tidelands Health Controller Erin Beadle recently earned the recognition from the Charleston CFO Council, a not-for-profit organization comprised of senior financial executives from the Charleston region. Erin Beadle accepts a Charleston CFO Council "Rising Star" Award.

Beadle, a 10-year employee of Tidelands Health, was promoted to controller in 2017. She has played a central role in managing the health system’s finances as the organization expands to help meet the health care needs of the region’s rapidly growing population.

“Her efficiency and drive for excellence is unsurpassed,” said Beth Ward, Tidelands Health CFO. “Through her commitment to careful management of our resources, Erin is helping to ensure our organization is well positioned to meet the community’s care needs for years to come.”

Among other accomplishments, Beadle has reorganized the accounting department to support the health system’s growth and better meet the needs of its care providers, Ward said.

“I'm blessed to work with a tremendous group of people who all share a commitment to Tidelands Health and, more broadly, the community,” Beadle said. “We are all very excited about the future of the health system and our region.”

Tidelands Health is the region’s largest health care provider and MUSC Health affiliate, serving the Carolinas at four hospitals and more than 60 outpatient locations. More than 2,500 employee, physician and volunteer partners work side by side with our communities to transform the health of our region – promoting wellness, preventing illness, encouraging recovery and restoring health.
