What does better health mean to you? Enter for a chance to be featured on a local billboard

Tidelands Health is offering community members a fun, free chance at a bit of fame.

Tidelands region residents are encouraged to visit a new website,, to share their ideas about the benefits of better health. Select entries will be featured on local billboards throughout the year in an effort to promote the new mission and vision statements for Tidelands Health.

The new statements were adopted by the health system’s board of trustees to best reflect the not-for-profit organization’s commitment to the health and wellness of people throughout the Tidelands region.

“We’re looking forward to seeing the comments and showcasing them within the community,” said Bruce Bailey, president and CEO of Tidelands Health. “It should be a fun way to explore the different ways people benefit from better health.”

The new Tidelands Health mission, which reflects the organization’s daily work, is: “We help people live better lives through better health.” The new Tidelands Health vision, which summarizes the organization’s guiding objective, is: “We will be our region’s first choice for health and wellness.”
