Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital earns national recognition for quality
Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital has earned national recognition for overall excellence in quality, ranking in the top 25 percent among rural U.S. hospitals.
The hospital earned the ranking from the The Chartis Center for Rural Health/iVantage Health Analytics and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health.
“This recognition is a reflection of our health system’s commitment to providing high-quality medical care close to home,” said Dr. Philip Dulberger, executive vice president and chief physician executive of Tidelands Health. “Our team works extremely hard every day to provide safe, effective and cost-efficient care to our patients.”
The rankings are determined each year using iVantage Health Analytics’ Hospital Strength INDEX, a data-driven program designed to identify excellence across a broad spectrum of indicators associated with hospital performance and patient care.
