Tidelands Health to host three blood drives in late July and early August

Help meet our community’s demand for blood by donating during one of three upcoming blood drives hosted by Tidelands Health in late July and early August.

The first blood drive will be held on Wednesday, July 25, from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Willbrook Service Center, 160 Willbrook Boulevard in Pawleys Island.

A second blood drive will take place on Monday, July 30, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Tidelands HealthPoint Center for Health and Fitness, 12965 Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island.Blood drive

The third blood drive is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 3, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.

Appointments will take priority at each blood drive, but walk-ins are welcome. Online registration for each blood drive is available at

Appointments for the Willbrook blood drive can be made by calling 843-652-8200. Individuals interested in registering for the blood drive at Tidelands HealthPoint can call 843-237-2205. Appointments for the blood drive at Tidelands Georgetown can be made by calling 843-527-7173.

In addition to having a valid ID, blood donors must be healthy, be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds.
