Tidelands Health names new leader of digestive care

A Surfside Beach resident with extensive experience in health care management has been named director of digestive health services at Tidelands Health.Jason Self

In his new role, Jason Self oversees the health system’s two gastroenterology practice locations and three endoscopy units. One of his primary responsibilities is to help ensure the health system’s gastroenterology care is aligned with the needs of the region’s rapidly growing population.

Self earned both his bachelor and master’s degrees in business administration from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri. He joined Tidelands Health in 2017
