Tidelands Health adds new family medicine practice, physician
Tidelands Health is expanding its network of family medicine practices as part of the health system’s efforts to improve access to high-quality medical care throughout the region.
Tidelands Health Family Medicine at Prince Creek, located at 11916 Highway 707, Suite D, in Murrells Inlet, is now accepting patients. Appointments begin on Feb. 26.
Care at the new practice will be provided by Dr. Lori Hess, the newest family physician at Tidelands Health. Dr. Hess earned her bachelor’s degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, and her medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where she also completed a residency in family medicine.
Dr. Hess is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She specializes in pediatric and adult well visits, as well as care for acute and chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypertension and more.
Tidelands Health Family Medicine at Prince Creek is the newest addition to the health system’s growing care network. The health system operates more than 50 care locations that stretch from Andrews to North Myrtle Beach.
Individuals interested in setting up an appointment should call 843-652-8450. Most insurance plans, including Medicare, will be accepted, but patients should inquire when making an appointment.
