Dr. Matthew McLaughlin joins Tidelands Health medical staff

A board-certified physician has joined the medical staff of Tidelands Health.

Dr. Matthew McLaughlin is practicing at Inlet Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. His areas of interest include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, sepsis, shock and interstitial lung disease.

Dr. McLaughlin earned his medical degree from the New York College of Dr. Matthew McLaughlinOsteopathic Medicine, completed a residency in internal medicine and completed a fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care, both at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.

Dr. McLaughlin has published several manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and is an author of national guidelines on the use of bedside echocardiography in critical care units.

Inlet Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine offers services at 4057 Highway 17 Bypass in Murrells Inlet.
