January 27, 2016

What better way to observe heart month than to keep a heart beating. You have the opportunity to do that by giving blood Friday, Feb. 5, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital’s blood drive.

The drive is scheduled for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the private dining room on the first floor of the hospital. Appointments will take priority, but walk-ins are welcome. Appointments can be made by calling 843.527.7173 or going to http://www.redcrossblood.org.

In addition to having a valid ID, blood donors must be healthy, be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds
