Tidelands Health will sponsor a regional health screening from 7:30–10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at Georgetown Presbyterian Church.

The event will take place in the fellowship hall, located behind the church at 558 Black River Road.

Screenings that are offered for a fee include chemistry profile, $20; complete blood count with differential, $20; thyroid screen, $15; diabetes (hemoglobin A1C), $15; PSA for men, $15. Chemistry profile tests require a 10- to 12-hour fast. 

A variety of other screenings also will be available at no cost.

Registration packets are available in the lobby area at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital and at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital, as well as at the screening event.

The regional health screening is one of several that Tidelands Health offers throughout the year for the community and includes information about Tidelands Health programs and physicians and tips for a healthy lifestyle.
