Two business leaders named to Tidelands Health Foundation board

Two area business leaders have joined the Tidelands Health Foundation board.  Benton Montgomery and Annette Austin were elected to serve two-year terms.

Austin and her husband, Bill, have nearly 20 years’ experience owning and operating restaurants and a catering business and are owners of Austin's Ocean One and Cabana Cafe restaurants at the Litchfield Inn.  A native of New York, Austin is a graduate of New York University and began her career in radio and marketing. The couple have one son.

Montgomery, a Kingstree native, is a senior financial adviser with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. He is a member of the foundation's Planned Giving Committee and has worked with the foundation on numerous fundraising initiatives. An avid golfer, Montgomery was instrumental in forming the first South Strand chapter of the South Carolina Junior Golf Association. He also served two terms as president of the Pawleys Island Lions Club. He is a graduate of Wofford College. He and his wife, Rebecca, have two daughters.
