Tidelands Waccamaw starting maternal loss bereavement group

 July 28, 2015

Tidelands Wacamaw Community Hospital is starting a bereavement group for people who have experienced maternal loss through miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death. The first meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in the 2 East classroom.  Subsequent meetings will take place on the fourth Monday of every month.

The Aug. 3 meeting will include introductions and discussion of what participants want to gain from the sessions, as well as time for questions and answers. The session will be led by AnnMarie Maloney and Beth Marion, who are nurses on Tidelands Waccamaw’s women and children’s services unit.
