Learn to shop healthy at summer supermarket tours

As food prices rise, serving nutritious, economic meals can be a challenge. Find out how to keep your family and your budget healthy at Tidelands Health’s free supermarket tours Aug. 18 and Sept. 23.

The Aug. 18 tour is set for 5 p.m. at the Pawleys Island Lowes Foods, 9160 Ocean Highway, and the Sept. 23 tour will be at 5 p.m. at the Georgetown Walmart.

You’ll learn how to read food labels, pick healthy snacks, shop on a budget and how marketing influences our food choices. Each tour lasts one hour and includes time for questions.
