Give the gift of life at Tidelands Health blood drives

Wondering how to help the community during the holidays? Give the gift of life at Tidelands Health’s upcoming blood drives, set for Dec. 11, Dec. 17 and Dec. 21.

Appointments will take priority, but walk-ins are welcome. Appointments can be made by calling numbers listed below or registering online at www.redcross.org

Friday, Dec. 11, Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital’s blood drive will take place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the private dining room on the hospital’s first floor.

Thursday, Dec. 17, Willbrook Service Center will hold its blood drive from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., 160 Willbrook Blvd.

In addition to having a valid ID, blood donors must be healthy, be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. One blood donation can save up to three lives.
