Dr. Sebastian Abadie joins Tidelands Health medical staff

A fellowship-trained gastroenterologist has joined the medical staff of Tidelands Health. Dr. Sebastian Abadie practices at Tidelands Waccamaw Gastroenterology, specializing in gastroenterological disorders. His areas of interest include colorectal cancer screening and the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, reflux disease and pancreatic biliary disease. 

Dr. Abadie earned his medical degree from National University of La Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and completed residency and fellowship training in Argentina. He also completed a residency in internal medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C., and a fellowship in gastroenterology at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Abadie is  board certified ininternal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
