Clemson and South Carolina fans: rise up and donate blood!

Give back to those who need blood donations the most while supporting your favorite football team and participating in a little friendly competition.

At Tidelands HealthPoint Center for Health and Fitness, come donate blood from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Oct. 26 and be included in a drawing for a special, tailgating- themed Carolina or Clemson basket..

The winner of the basket will be drawn on Nov. 16,  just in time to use for the big game on Nov. 28.

If you cannot attend the blood drive at Tidelands HealthPoint, there will be another opportunity to donate at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital (at Wachesaw Conference Center) from 10 a.m. - 4p.m. on Nov. 13.

Those who are at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds are eligible to donate. Bring a valid ID and be in a healthy condition in order to donate blood.

Help make someone else’s life healthier by donating something that is so precious to them.

And who knows? You might  be able to sit back with your new gift basket and enjoy the tailgate with the latest Clemson or South Carolina gear!
