Help replenish blood supply Oct. 3 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital

Summer may be over, but the demand for blood never takes a vacation. Help replenish the blood supply and donate Friday, Oct. 3, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Donors can give between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the staff development building behind the hospital.
Appointments will take priority, but walk-ins are welcome. To make an appointment, call 527-7173 or go to http://www.redcrossblood.org. Donors will receive a free soda fountain drink and a key chain.
In addition to having a valid ID, blood donors must be healthy, be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds.
