HealthPoint blood drive set for February 28

Georgetown, S.C. – What better way to observe heart month than to keep a heart beating. You can do that by giving blood Friday, Feb. 28, at   HealthPoint Center for Health & Fitness.

The drive is scheduled for 12:30-5:30 p.m. in the American Red Cross blood mobile, which will be located in the parking lot at HealthPoint.  Appointments will take priority, but walk-ins are welcome. Appointments can be made by calling 843.527.7173 or going to HealthPoint is located at 12965 Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island. In addition to having a valid ID, blood donors must be healthy, be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds.
