Georgetown, S.C. — Want to lighten up and have more energy? Sign up for the Create Your Weight program at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Create Your Weight is a comprehensive, eight-week wellness program that gets under way at 5:30 p.m. April 10 and continues through May 29. Each class will last 30 minutes and highlight a different nutrition topic with an emphasis on behavior and exercise. All classes will be led by a registered dietitian.
Participants will learn how to read food labels, develop confidence in making healthy food choices and set their own nutrition/lifestyle/exercise goals.
The program costs $75 and includes all materials, including a copy of “The Appetite Awareness Workbook.” No special foods are required. To get more information or to register, call Outpatient Nutrition Services at 843.520.8288.
