S.C. Arthritis Health Expo Sept. 17 at Waccamaw Community Hospital

Georgetown, S.C. — Find out the latest in treatment and therapy at the S.C. Arthritis Health Expo Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Waccamaw Community Hospital (WCH).

The daylong event, sponsored by the Arthritis Foundation, will include a health expo from 8 a.m.-noon in the lobby of WCH and a Physician Panel from 12:15 –2 p.m. at Wachesaw Conference Center.

More than 20 vendors will be on hand to discuss goods and services for patients and providers. They will be joined by therapists from NextStep Rehab Services, who will have information on the newest specialty therapy services for arthritis patients. An “Ask A Doc Table” where visitors can get their arthritis-related questions answered by health care providers also will be set up.

The Osteoarthritis Physician Panel, which is free, will feature Nancy Eisenberger, a family nurse practitioner with Carolina Health Specialists; Dr. Channing Willoughby, a physician with NextStep Pain Management; Dr. Daniel Single and Dr. William Greer of Waccamaw Orthopaedics, and Lance Owens a physical therapist with NextStep Rehab Services.
