Jump into the donor pool; give blood at GMH Aug. 9

Georgetown, S.C. – It’s not too late to sign up for Georgetown Memorial Hospital's blood drive, set for Friday, Aug. 9, in the private dining room on the first floor of the hospital.

The event is open to the public and will take place from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Appointments will take priority, but walk-ins are welcome. Appointments can be made by calling 843.527.7173 or going to http://www.redcrossblood.org.

Donors will receive a jar opened and an ice cream or a soda coupon.

In addition to having a valid ID, blood donors must be healthy, be at least 17 years old and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds. Jump into the donor pool!
