GHS offering flu vaccine clinics for the public

Georgetown, S.C. — Still time to get that flu shot, and to make it as easy as possible, Georgetown Hospital System’s Community Health Education Department is offering flu vaccine clinics, including drive-through sites, for the public.
Waccamaw Community Hospital’s flu vaccine clinic is set for 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, in the mall area. The drive-through clinic is scheduled for the same day from 3:30-5:30 p.m. near the Surgery Pavilion entrance at the front of the hospital. Enter off Riverwood Drive.
Georgetown Memorial Hospital’s flu vaccine clinic will take place from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, in the mall area of the hospital. The drive-through clinic will take place the same day, Oct. 24, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. behind GMH in the area H parking lot on Memorial Lane.
The cost at both sites is $25. Medicare B is accepted, but a Medicare card must be presented. Contact the Community Health Education Department at 520-8579 for more information.
