Dr. Laurence H. Ballou to give free public lecture on GERD

Georgetown, S.C. — Gastroesophageal reflux disease, commonly called GERD, is the topic of a free public lecture by Dr. Laurence H. Ballou at noon Thursday, May 30, in Murrells Inlet

Ballou, a physician with Waccamaw Gastroenterology, will speak at Wachesaw Conference Center across from Waccamaw Community Hospital. His talk is being hosted by Georgetown Hospital System.   

The event will last about an hour and include opportunities for participants to ask questions. Lunch will be served. Space is limited. Reservations can be made by calling 843.520.7842 to reserve a seat. Wachesaw Conference Center is located at 4367 Riverwood Drive.  

Ballou’s offices are located at 4040 Highway 17 Bypass, Suite 302, in Murrells Inlet, 1011 North Fraser St. in Georgetown and 4301 Dick Pond Road in the Myrtle Beach area.
