Diagnosis and treatment of hernias topic of GHS lecture

Georgetown, S.C. — Dr. Anthony H. deHaas, a physician with Winyah Surgical Specialists, will give a free public lecture on hernias  at noon Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Murrells Inlet.

DeHaas’ talk, set for Wachesaw Conference Center, is titled “Lumps and Bumps: Diagnosis and Treatment. How Hernias Develop and Why We Fix Them.” The event will last about an hour and include opportunities for participants to ask questions. His talk is sponsored by Georgetown Hospital System.
